Got the Corona-blues? Slip on your flip flops, wax your surfboard and watch this award-winning video of Golden Retriever, "Gryffindor", as he performs tricks to "Surfin' USA"! Gryffindor is one of the many live performers we had scheduled this summer. Due to the Coronavirus we unfortunately had to cancel our 2020 Summer Reading Program shows. Gryffindor is bummed he doesn't get to entertain for you this year, but he hopes you enjoy his routine, as seen on the Library's Facebook or You can also see what he's up to by following him on Facebook: ******************************************************************************************* Gibbs Memorial Library received a grant from the Pilcrow Foundation’s Children’s Book Project Disaster Relief with two donor-sponsored program from Shout Mouse providing 2 books and 12 science/math books from Mr. & Mrs. Hal Bereson and Laura Ackerman from Colorado. Donation from Drs. Bill Strawbridge & Meg Waagen from California of 46 books. This grant enabled Gibbs Memorial Library to receive 59 books. This is very much appreciated because of the September 2019 fire at the library which cause the loss of the book collection.
